“I think it’s very important to have debates, and we agreed with Fox on September 4th. We agreed with NBC. We agreed with September 10th. And we agreed with ABC on September 25th,” the Republican candidate said.

The date for the September 10 ABC debate was originally agreed upon between Trump and President Joe Biden (81) in May, before Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Trump claimed on his social media platform on August 2 that his ABC News debate “is no longer happening because Biden will no longer participate.”
