Jimmy Fallon on summer vacation: From the odyssey in Bavaria to Paris

From the field in Bavaria to the Olympics in Paris: US presenter Jimmy Fallon has some adventurous days ahead of him.

A pretty exciting summer vacation for Jimmy Fallon (49): First, the “Tonight Show” presenter spent a few days in Bavaria, got lost in the countryside and was rescued from his misery by a mother-son duo. Then Fallon went to Paris – and there, at the Olympic Games, things were a little more glamorous.

Fallon described what had happened in Bavaria on Saturday. He had set out for a walk by the lake, but got lost. “I took out my phone, but the battery was only at five percent,” said Fallon. At that point, according to Google Maps, he was an hour and 40 minutes away from his hotel. He then wandered through a field – hoping to have found a shortcut.

An attempt to hitchhike also failed. It was only when Fallon got to a car repair shop that he found two younger men who could help him. In his six-minute clip, accompanied by Bavarian music, Fallon explained that one of the boys said he looked like Jimmy Fallon. After his identity was established, they took a selfie – and finally he dared to ask him if he could drive him to the hotel. The young man, named Leon, then disappeared briefly and came back with his parents. He and his mother eventually drove Fallon back to the hotel. he shared a short clip of the car ride, in which the trio can be seen singing in the convertible.

As a thank you, the presenter promised to invite mother and son to his show. He gave them his contact details and asked them to come to his “Tonight Show”. “If you’re in the United States, if you’re in New York, I’d love to take care of you,” said Fallon. The presenter was apparently in Munich in Bavaria for an Adele concert.

Olympics with Macron and Jagger

After the short odyssey in Bavaria, Jimmy Fallon went on to France. The US presenter seems to have found his way around quite well at the Olympic Games in Paris. So well, at least, that he found two high-profile celebrities in the stadium: On Saturday evening (10 August), French President Emmanuel Macron (46) posted a photo with Jimmy Fallon, taken by the politician himself. “Roommates? Best friends!” he wrote.

A few hours later, Jimmy Fallon shared a photo with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger (81) from the Stade de France, where the athletics competitions were held. “Paint it GOLD,” he wrote on the photo.

Later in the evening, Fallon attended the men’s basketball gold medal game between the USA and France, which the US team won 98:87. Fallon was seen cheering courtside next to former NBA star Carmelo Anthony (40).
