Jennifer Lange: Negative comments about her wedding dress

Jennifer Lange (30) and Darius Zander (40) got married last weekend. In their podcast “Pfeffer im Kühlschrank” they talk about it with “Mr. & Mrs. Zander”. “We got married the day before yesterday, relatively quickly. I gave up my name, irrevocably,” explains the influencer with a laugh and adds: “We wanted to get married before the birth. I am currently heavily pregnant, he felt like he could come at any moment.”

Her partner also raves: “It was just a great day. It’s a bit surreal, everything that’s happened recently. I think the whole summer was pretty crazy.” The couple only celebrated with their witnesses and a “very small circle”. “We went to a nice restaurant, had a delicious meal and had a lovely day.” Afterwards, the two of them booked themselves into a hotel suite in Cologne.

In a short speech, he declared his love to his wife and said that he was simply happy “that I found you,” says Darius Zander. “Jennifer, you are my dream woman and I can be anything with you and that’s just great.” The wedding was once again “a small seal of our love.”

The two also addressed a less pleasant fact about the wedding. The couple received an incredible number of messages, “no normal person gets so many lovely and beautiful messages about their wedding,” explains Darius Zander. “But we also had a topic, you were wearing a dress, you were the most beautiful and amazing bride for me, and there were people who wrote under a wedding reel: ‘How horrible you look, what a terrible dress that is’.” Jennifer Lange gives an insight into the wedding ceremony and comments on it with “Mr. & Mrs. Zander”.

Comment function deactivated

This is a general social problem, you can criticize things, “but I don’t understand how you can use personal taste at a wedding to let out your personal frustration,” says her husband in the podcast. “It has nothing to do with criticism. It’s just not appropriate to write something like that at such a beautiful moment, at a pregnant, wonderful, pretty bride.” His wife agrees: “I like to put myself in the people’s shoes. I imagine that I don’t like something, a piece of clothing, for example. I would never think of writing that underneath. How important do I think I am at that moment? I would feel so bad and embarrassed.” You can only feel sorry for these people.

“Of course I read comments and messages like that, which is why I think I deactivated the comment function for the very first time, because it had escalated so much,” the former “Bachelor” winner continues. “At some point it was no longer about the dress, but about people making fun of each other and insulting each other. I found it really terrible to watch. I couldn’t take it anymore and did it for myself and my community.”

The couple is now looking positively to the future and is planning another wedding after the birth of their son. “We will have another big wedding in two years. It might be somewhere in the south,” reveals Darius Zander. “We want to take our time with the planning and maybe celebrate over several days,” adds his wife.

Jennifer Lange has been officially dating musician Darius “Dari” Zander since August 2021. Before that, she was in a relationship with Andrej Mangold (37) for over a year, who gave her the last rose in the dating show of the same name as the “Bachelor” in 2019. After participating in the “Sommerhaus der Stars”, the TV couple separated in 2020.
