The comedy series “LOL: Last One Laughing” will be airing on Amazon Prime in October with eight stars in a Halloween special. Among them are some repeat offenders.
Bill and Tom Kaulitz are among the stars of the Halloween special of the comedy series “LOL” on Amazon Prime. The Tokio Hotel twins will meet three other couples as a duo in the no-laughing challenge in October. The stars are therefore required to work as teams, not as individuals. Also taking part, according to the streaming provider, are comedians Mirja Boes and Torsten Sträter, actress Palina Rojinski and comedian Olaf Schubert as well as actress Annette Frier and singer Sasha. The host of the three Halloween special episodes is once again Michael Bully Herbig.
Under the motto “Scare allowed – no laughing”, the special runs like the regular seasons of the series, apart from the rule that the stars compete against each other as pairs. In the “LOL: Last One Laughing Halloween Special”, the participants try for three hours to make the other teams laugh in front of a Halloween backdrop. Whoever laughs twice is eliminated. Whoever laughs last wins prize money of 50,000 euros for a good cause.
Some repeat offenders
The “LOL” special also features a number of repeat offenders: with the exception of the Kaulitz brothers and Sasha, all of the stars have already appeared in previous episodes of the five seasons so far.
“LOL: Last One Laughing” is one of the most successful comedy formats in Germany. The format won the German Comedy Award, the German Television Award and was nominated for the International Emmy.
