Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been appearing in public more often recently. The couple recently launched a campaign with their charity organization “Archewell” on the topic of cyberbullying, and now they are traveling through Colombia. With the four-day trip, they want to raise awareness of issues such as cyberbullying and online discrimination and also support the promotion of women’s leadership roles in Colombia.
There were many beautiful moments on the trip – and some of them were captured in pictures. The dropouts from the royal family still exude a royal atmosphere. The highlights of the trip included Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan brushing up on their Spanish and interacting with school children.
Prince Harry and Meghan were up for any fun
At a school, they were greeted by students dressed in traditional Colombian clothing. Harry swayed along to the music and spoke to the youngsters, while Meghan said in Spanish to a preschooler: “You are the same age as my son Archie.” Prince Harry also asked the students’ names and ages in Spanish.
The couple later visited a rehabilitation center in Bogotá, where Harry played a game of seated volleyball with Invictus athletes and talked to them about their training programs. Another highlight was the moment when Duchess Meghan received gifts from artists at the center, including a painting, hand-knitted animals and a pearl necklace.
Vice President Francia Marquez accompanied the couple throughout the entire trip; she had also invited them.
