Three days after her 18th birthday in May, Shiloh Jolie applied to the authorities to change her name. In July, she published an ad in the Los Angeles Times to announce that she no longer wanted to be called “Pitt.” On her private Instagram profile, she had already referred to herself as Shi Jolie. The 18-year-old is active as a dancer.

An insider told People magazine in early June that Shiloh’s father Brad Pitt was “informed and upset” about Shiloh’s official request for a name change.
