Michael Madsen (66) was arrested at the weekend. Police in Malibu have taken the actor, who is best known from films by Quentin Tarantino (61), into custody for alleged domestic violence. Madsen’s alleged victim is said to have been his wife DeAnna Madsen (64). “It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope will end positively for both,” said a spokesman for the actor. After paying bail of $20,000, Michael Madsen is free again.
2022 arrested for trespassing after serious loss
For Michael Madsen, the incident was not the first encounter with the police. In February 2022, the actor was arrested for trespassing on someone else’s property. Officers escorted him in handcuffs from his Malibu home for trespassing.
In 2019, Michael Madsen spent four days in jail after causing an accident while drunk. He was sentenced to five years’ probation. He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2012. He had to complete a 30-day rehabilitation program.
Shortly before the trespassing in 2022, Michael Madsen had to cope with a serious loss. His son Hudson died at the age of only 26. The “Reservoir Dogs” star has two more sons with DeAnna Madsen, with whom he has been married for the third time since 1996.
