Survival in the wild: In the fourth season of “7 vs. Wild” some influencers want to prove this again in the fall. Who is taking part this time?
This year, actress Julia Beautx and entertainer Joey Kelly are among those taking part in the survival reality format “7 vs. Wild”. Format developer and video producer Fritz Meinecke introduced the seven participants of the fourth season on YouTube – he himself is not taking part for the first time. The season, which will be shown on Amazon in the fall, will be “by far the toughest ever,” Meinecke announced a few weeks ago. Further details, such as the filming location and the rules, are not yet known.
In the first two seasons, participants were left alone in the wilderness of Sweden and Panama with little equipment and no food. They had to survive there for seven days. However, they could call for help and give up at any time. In the third season, teams of two were to practice survival for 14 days in Canada. Joey Kelly also took part then, but his duo was eliminated early.
The format was initially only broadcast on YouTube and is one of the most successful German-language YouTube formats with 5.5 million views per episode.
