With direction of Diego Alvarez for Plataforma TV and production of PopArt Discos and CINEMEX, “Monumental Decadentes – The Movie” shows the most epic moments of the incredible show that the band gave at the Monumental Plaza de Toros in Mexico in May 2024, with moments that pay homage to great classics of universal cinema representing genres such as western, horror, comedy, psychological thriller, science fiction and even Hollywood style biopic.
Through anachronistic mini-stories, Los Auténticos Decadentes take on the role of movie stars by transforming into surreal characters who inhabit bizarre worlds, where the laws of humor and absurdity rule.

The band will debut on the big screen in Argentina – simultaneously with Mexico and Paraguay – with a fantasy film without limits, as delirious and unclassifiable as its protagonists. The live show features special participation by Los Caligaris, Systema Solar and Conociendo Rusia, as guest artists.
From September 5th “Monumental Decadentes – The Movie” will be available in the main Cinemark-Hoyts theaters in the country, to mark a new chapter in the unique story of Los Auténticos Decadentes, which is sure to become an unmissable classic of alternative cinema.
