Joined by writers, producers, executives, and actors from the show, including Lorraine Bracco, Edie Falco and Michael ImperioliThe documentary offers insight and inspiration along with a variety of clips from the show, early audition videos of many of the cast members, and behind-the-scenes footage to take the viewer into the world of The Sopranos.
Chase, who grew up in an Italian-American family in northern New Jersey, had a complicated mother and a fascination with film, tells us how he came to Hollywood, where he wrote for a multitude of television shows, and his relationship with HBO when he designed and developed its mobster antihero Tony Soprano.
