Dieter Bohlen and his Carina have been inseparable for 18 years. He has now posted a loving birthday greeting for her 40th birthday.
With ten red hearts and a loving “Happy Birthday Carinchen”, Dieter Bohlen (70) congratulated his long-term partner Carina on her 40th birthday on Friday morning. The pop titan also posted a photo showing Carina in an orange bikini on the beach. She is smiling at the camera on a sun lounger with sunglasses and a ponytail – the lounger, towel and umbrella are also orange.
A couple for 18 years
Carina has been Bohlen’s wife since 2006. The two met in a club in Mallorca. At the time, he was 51 years old and she was only 21. Despite the 30-year age difference, they became a close-knit team. Their daughter Amelie was born in 2011, and their son Maximilian in 2013.
Bohlen recently remembered their first meeting. On August 5th, he published a photo of the couple and wrote: “18 years ago today we met.” He added a few red hearts – not 18, but only 14.

Carina, a trained hotel clerk, keeps a low profile in public. However, she can often be seen on Bohlen’s Instagram account. According to her own statements, Carina manages Bohlen’s career from the background: “I manage his music publishing company, have inquiries almost every day, coordinate all appointments, new advertising inquiries… There’s a lot to do here,” she revealed a few years ago.
“We have been together for 17 years and are the greatest couple on the planet. We never argue,” Bohlen enthused at the beginning of the year. “You have to be a diplomat at home. I wasn’t in the past. But today I often think to myself: is it worth an argument?” said the pop titan. “I don’t argue because Carina wants me to close the toothpaste properly. Then I’d rather close it and have some peace. In the past I would have said to my wives: ‘If that bothers you, close it yourself!'”
