Channing Tatum worries: How will his daughter react to “Magic Mike”?

Actor Channing Tatum is afraid of the moment when his daughter discovers his “Magic Mike” films.

Channing Tatum (44) is afraid of the day when his daughter Everly (11) will see him for the first time in the “Magic Mike” films. In the successful series, the 44-year-old played a stripper. “It will be terrible,” he said. The films are inspired by his own experiences as a stripper.

“I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance”

Beforehand, he raved on the show about Taylor Swift’s (34) concert in London, which he attended with his daughter. He wisely left his lascivious dance moves at home. “I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance,” he laughed with relief. When his daughter finds out about his role and the dances, she will ask him for a chat, joked presenter Seth Meyers (50). “You come home and she turns on a lamp and says: ‘We need to talk,'” he joked, making Tatum laugh.

Dance experience through several films

The actor thrilled millions of viewers with his dancing skills in “Magic Mike” (2012), “Magic Mike XXL” (2015) and “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” (2023). He also impressed with his moves in “Step Up” (2006) and “Step Up: Miami Heat” (2012). Since Thursday (August 22), he has been seen in German cinemas in the thriller “Blink Twice” (2024). In the directorial debut of his fiancée Zoë Kravitz (35), he plays the tech entrepreneur and billionaire Slater King.

Tatum and Kravitz are said to be engaged at the end of 2023. The actor brought his daughter Everly into the relationship, who is from his marriage to fellow actress Jenna Dewan (43). The two met on the set of the dance film “Step Up”. In 2018, they announced their separation.
