Ozzy Osbourne: He mourns the loss of his beloved dog Rocky

Ozzy Osbourne (75) is mourning the loss of his dog Rocky. As the rock star announced on Instagram on Thursday, the Pomeranian died two days ago. “See you on the other side, my friend,” promised the musician.

Dog was his long-time companion

The dog has been by his side “for 15 years,” the Black Sabbath singer wrote. “I will always love you.” He also posted a snapshot of himself holding his loyal companion in his arms. In the comments, many celebrity friends expressed their condolences. “My deepest condolences. RIP Rocky,” said actor Danny Trejo (80).

Osbourne’s long-time wife Sharon (71) also paid tribute to the deceased dog. “We lost an OG and Ozzy’s partner in crime – Rest Easy Rocky,” she wrote. The compilation shows the dog with her and Ozzy Osbourne in his teepee dog bed and on a walk. The presenter played melancholic piano music over the video. “OG rest in peace,” their son Jack Osbourne (38) also said goodbye in his Instagram story.

“Rocky was my dad’s best buddy for 15 years,” wrote daughter Kelly (39) in her Instagram story. “I don’t know what it will be like to come home and not see him there anymore. Rest in peace, sweet prince.”

Serious health problems

Ozzy Osbourne has been struggling with health problems for many years. After his quad bike accident in 2003 and a fall in 2019, he underwent four operations on his spine. Because of his injury, he also canceled his farewell tour originally planned for 2019 last year.

In January 2020, Ozzy Osbourne made his Parkinson’s disease public. He is having stem cells administered to treat the neurological disease. He revealed this at the end of April 2024 in an “Ozzy Speaks” broadcast on the radio station “Sirius XM”.
