The wait is over: Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa have become parents again.
“When is my son finally coming?” Pietro Lombardi (32) asked himself in an Instagram story on Tuesday. Three days later, the time has come: the singer and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa (28) have become parents again. The couple announced the birth of their second son together.

There they shared a photo of the three of them from the hospital. Rypa is lying in bed with the baby in her arms and Lombardi is leaning protectively over the two. The two have also already revealed the little one’s name: “We are incredibly happy to announce that our son Amelio Elija was born healthy. Our hearts are filled with love and we are enjoying the days and the time we spend together. It is so beautiful to see how our family is growing.”
Lombardi also shared the post in an Instagram story and wrote: “Number 3. I’m so happy.” Within a few minutes, the post had already been liked and commented on thousands of times.
Third child for Pietro
Lombardi and Rypa announced their new pregnancy in January with an Instagram post. In April, they announced that it was another boy. There were some complications during the pregnancy, as the expectant mother announced in July.
The two are already parents of little Leano (1), who was born in early 2023. This is Lombardi’s third child. He also has his son Alessio (9) from his previous marriage to Sarah Engels (31).
