The Hamburg Green Party’s co-chairwoman, Jenny Jasberg, has been a huge fan of the pop star for years and was in the front row at a concert in the Hanseatic city. “Robbie Williams knows my name, kissed me, dedicated ‘She’s the one’ to me… I can retire with a clear conscience. What else could happen now?” the 41-year-old wrote on Instagram after the concert.
The Instagram video in her post shows Robbie taking her hand and crooning “Jenny, Jenny, Jenny.” He asks Jasberg if he could dedicate the song to her and thanks her with the words: “You’re a sweetie.” This is followed by a kiss on the cheek.
A Green Party spokesman confirmed that Jasberg was an absolute fan of Williams and had loved his former boy band Take That. The politician told the “Bild” newspaper: “Robbie stood with me and my companions for almost three minutes. He chatted to us very casually and cracked lots of jokes.”
