Yesterday, August 25th, Cantero’s birthday, news was released that will thrill Enanitos Verdes fans and all Spanish rock lovers. Through Marciano Cantero’s Instagram account, his son Javier announced the release of an unreleased album that his father had recorded in 2001. The title of the album will be: “Martian 2001”.

Marciano Cantero, whose real name was Horacio Eduardo Cantero Hernandezwas the leader, vocalist and composer of the Argentine band Enanitos Verdes, one of the most important bands in Spanish rock. With more than four decades of career, His songs became hymns that transcended bordersand his legacy lives on in the hearts of millions of fans around the world.
Cantero died on September 8, 2022 at the age of 62 at the Cuyo Clinic in the city of Mendozaa, due to a kidney complication.
