Oasis confirmed their return: the list of songs from their last shows

The band’s final concert took place on 22 August 2009 at the now defunct V Festival in Weston Park.

After separating 15 years ago and a very public feud in the years since, the Gallagher brothers They shared a statement that read: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The long wait is over. Come see it. It will not be televised.” Oasis confirmed his return to the stage in 2025.

The band’s final show took place on 22nd August 2009 at the now defunct V Festival in Weston Park and the band performed a hit-packed set that included “Cigarettes & Alcohol”, “Half The World Away” and an acoustic version of “Wonderwall”.

The band were scheduled to play at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris on 28 August, but the gig never took place due to an alleged fight between the Gallagher brothers minutes before they were due to go on stage. Noel left the band shortly afterwards.

Years of a very public feud between the brothers followed. Ten years after the split, Liam reflected on the breakup, telling Radio X that he still “felt the pain” of the split and claimed that “everything was fine” at the time of the split. Noel, on the other hand, said that The breakup was the result of latent tensions within the band.

Reflecting on the row, Noel told Sky Arts’ new show Noel Gallagher: Out Of The Now: “Oasis tours were always about the fight anyway. The incident in Paris was just the final straw, really.”

Today, the band launched the OASIS LIVE 25 world tour with 14 stadium dates taking place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer. These will be the band’s only European shows in 2025, but a press release states that “There are plans in the works for OASIS LIVE 25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year”.
