Channing Tatum didn’t use the washing machine for a year. Instead of doing laundry, the actor bought new white T-shirts.
Channing Tatum (44) is not a fan of doing laundry. That’s why he preferred to buy new T-shirts for a year, as he revealed in one. “I hate it more than I can express,” he said in the clip.
“The year of the fresh, white T-shirt”
“I had a year that I called ‘the year of the crisp white T-shirt,’ and I think I didn’t do any laundry the whole year and just wore white T-shirts that I had just bought,” the actor said. At that point, however, Tatum was not yet in the public eye. “I thought to myself, ‘I can wear this twice a week. This is going to be good.’ The year of the crisp white T-shirt – 1999 or 2000,” he explained.
Even today, Tatum often appears in his favorite piece of clothing. “It’s just a classic,” he explained his preference for the simple shirt. He also said that he loves ribbed tank tops. In the video, he also said that he still has pants that he has been wearing since he was 18. “I grew up with them in many ways,” he continued. “I built houses in them and now they are my comfort clothes,” he said, explaining his connection to his favorite pants.
Wears favorite piece in “Blink Twice”
In “Blink Twice,” Tatum didn’t have to go without his favorite tops. The lead actor can be seen in a white ribbed tank top for his latest film project. In the film, which was directed by his fiancée Zoë Kravitz (35), he takes on the role of tech billionaire Slater King. The mystery thriller opened in German cinemas last Thursday (August 22). It grossed 14 million US dollars worldwide in its first weekend.
