Yesterday (August 27) it was revealed that Liam and Noel Gallagher They had finally settled their differences and will embark on a grand comeback tour with Oasis next European summer, a tour called “OASIS LIVE 25”.
The upcoming run of shows currently consists of multiple dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Saturday 31 August 2024 at 9am (BST) in the UK via ticketmaster.co.uk and seetickets.com, and at 8am (IST) in Ireland via ticketmaster.ie.
A source told The Sun (via The Standard) that “these shows will sell out in less than three minutes,” adding: “Additional dates will surely be added”.
It was previously reported that Oasis could play a record 10 nights at Wembley Stadium, which would surpass the recent eight nights of Taylor Swift on location on their “Eras Tour”.
Who is the founding member of Oasis that Liam and Noel Gallagher want to add to the tour?
According to several English media, “no other original members of Oasis are expected to join the reunion”, and that “members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will join”.
Now The Sun has reported that Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs will be taking part in the live comeback. The multi-instrumentalist was a co-founding member of Oasis and appeared in the initial line-up alongside Liam, Noel, the bassist Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan and the drummer Tony McCarroll.
A source told the paper: “Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the group and he was one of the driving forces behind the reunion. Noel has also brought some of his band.”
“The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”
Arthurs left the group in 1999 to spend more time with his family and was replaced by Gem Archer.
A short archive clip of Bonehead appears in the announcement video for Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour. He also left a comment on one of the band’s posts about the gig on Instagram yesterday, sharing two heart emojis.

Arthurs, who is a regular member of Liam’s solo band, was asked last year if he would be willing to take part in an Oasis reunion. “I’m ready, I’ve got my dancing shoes”he replied.
At the time, he explained that a return of the Britpop giants would be “worth it” for younger fans who never got to see them live in the 90s and 2000s.
“When I play a stadium with Liam, I look at those first 10 rows and I see they’re 16 or 17 years old,” Arthurs said. “These people weren’t even born until well into Oasis’ career. So if there was a reunion, wouldn’t it be worth it for them? You hear that, Liam? You hear that, Noel?”
Bonehead temporarily retired from touring with Liam in 2022 after being diagnosed with tonsil cancer. He completed his treatment for the condition that year and later confirmed that he was cancer-free.
The guitarist has since joined Liam on his recent 30th anniversary solo tour. ‘Definitely Maybe’ and at their Reading & Leeds 2024 headline shows last weekend.
