Reinterpretation of bestselling thriller
The series is a reinterpretation of the cult thriller by bestselling author Frederick Forsyth (86) from 1971, which was already filmed in 1973 with Edward Fox (87) and in 1997 with Bruce Willis (69) in the title role. The story centers on a notorious professional killer who is commissioned to murder a high-ranking politician.
the actor will earn a whopping fee of one million pounds (around 1.2 million euros) per episode for his acting in the series adaptation. According to the report, the ten-part killer drama will be Sky’s most expensive series production to date.
