His children are already grown up – and no longer need his advice. Uwe Ochsenknecht says: “My door is always open.” As a grandfather, he feels quite old.
Actor Uwe Ochsenknecht has practiced letting go with his children. “I tried to be there for them with help and advice, to give them support,” the 68-year-old told “Gala”. “At some point I realized that they no longer needed or wanted that, and I said: do your thing, be happy, my door is always open.” Ochsenknecht has three grown-up children with his ex-wife Natascha: Wilson Gonzalez, Jimi Blue and Cheyenne Savannah. He has a son, Rocco Stark, from a previous relationship.
According to Gala, Ochsenknecht became a grandfather for the fifth time in July. “I’m slowly losing track,” he told the paper. “It’s sweet when the children say: ‘Grandpa, come here.’ But I also feel 50 years older.”
