Around nine months ago, entertainer Riccardo Simonetti wrote about his engagement on Instagram. Now more news follows – along with a declaration of love.
Entertainer Riccardo Simonetti (31) has married, according to a post on his Instagram account. “Today I was lucky enough to marry the most wonderful man I have ever met in my life,” said the Instagram post, which was tagged with Palma – the capital of the Majorcan island.
He continued: “Steven, you are a gift to every room you walk into, you make every single person who meets you fall in love with you, and you chose me as your husband? What a privilege!”
For most of his life, he thought marriage was not an option for him “because I didn’t grow up with many gay couples around me,” the post said. That changed when he met Steven and finally realized that unconditional love exists and that people like them deserve it just as much as anyone else.
Simonetti announced his engagement last November. He is an active advocate for sexual diversity. He has more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.
