The La Pampa Opportunities Foundationdedicated to offering university scholarships to low-income people to study in Buenos Aires, launches the “Maria Laura Garcia Scholarship”, aimed at supporting women who want to study careers related to communication, information and technology.
Maria Laura Garcia She is the president and founder of Global News Groupthe main source of media monitoring and evaluation in Latin America, while also serving as Director of the Certificate in Digital and Information Intelligence for Decision-Making at Siglo 21 University.
To participate in the selection process, applicants must meet the following requirements: be a woman, of Argentine nationality, have an average equal to or greater than 7 (from the last year of school) and not have any disciplinary sanctions at school.
They must also have two letters of recommendation (from teachers or school directors), a letter of motivation and a scan of the student’s partial or final transcript.
The scholarship recipient may choose to study one of the following courses:
- Programmer Analyst (Interamerican Open University)
- Computer Systems Engineering (Interamerican Open University)
- Bachelor of Information Technology Management (Interamerican Open University)
- Systems Engineering (Merchant Marine University)
- Bachelor of Systems Administration (Merchant Marine University)
- Bachelor of Communication Sciences and Creative Writing (Merchant Navy University)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Internet Business Administration (Argentine School of Business)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Argentine School of Business)
