The film focuses on the life of Alan Bender, a businessman who works talking with kidnappers to resolve these types of conflicts. On this occasion, the protagonist must save the president of Mexico, without knowing that the kidnappers have a surprise for him.
This job brought him countless problems in his marriage. He has an 8-year-old daughter whom he apparently doesn’t spend much time with, and his wife has been asking him for the same thing in marriage counseling for quite some time. Everything takes an unexpected turn when, having to rescue the president, the kidnappers show that they are also holding his wife captive.
