Her shows in Munich are over, there are still a few performances in Las Vegas to come – after that, Adele will retire for a while.
Adele (36) is apparently planning an “incredibly long break” from the stage. The singer has told her fans that she will take a break from performing as soon as she has completed her remaining shows in Las Vegas. She has just finished her series of concerts in Munich, where she played in August.
During her last show there, Adele reportedly said she had “really enjoyed performing for nearly three years now, which is the longest I’ve ever done it and probably the longest I’ll ever do it.” She also explained that she now has ten shows left in Vegas, adding: “After that, I won’t be seeing you for an incredibly long time.”
“I need a break”
She is also said to have told the audience: “I will carry you in my heart for the entire duration of my break and I will dream about these shows and all the shows I have done over the last three years. It was incredible, I just need a break.” She has “spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now.”
Does this include an addition to the family? Adele is in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul (43). The two first appeared together in public in July 2021. In September of the same year, the singer appeared with her partner on Instagram for the first time. “I’ve never been so in love. I’m obsessed with him,” she revealed to “Elle” in August 2022, explaining in the same breath that she “definitely wants more children. I’m a housewife and I’m a matriarch, and having a stable life helps me with my music.”
She already has a son, Angelo Adkins, from a previous marriage with Simon Konecki (50). She was married to Konecki from 2018 to 2021, but the marriage failed in 2019. “As soon as I’m done with all my commitments and all my shows, I want to have a baby,” Adele said in May of this year. And she continued: “I want a girl because I already have a boy.”
