The 32-year-old shared a photo on Instagram of a handwritten sign asking her to sing the national anthem before the high school team’s game. A subsequent video shows her explaining to excited volleyball players and young fans in a gym that she saw the sign. The girls exclaimed with delight, took cell phone videos and thanked the singer profusely.
