Katie Holmes (46) has spoken out about the death of her colleague Obi Ndefo (1972-2024). The actor, whose death was announced on August 31 at the age of 51, played alongside her in the series “Dawson’s Creek” from 1998 to 2002.
Holmes reposted a photo in her story that co-star Mary-Margaret Humes (70) had previously shared of herself and the deceased. “It was wonderful working with him and he was such a nice man,” she wrote. Her prayers and thoughts are now with Ndefo’s family. “Rest in peace,” the actress concluded her lines with a heart emoji.
Katie Holmes became a global star in the late 1990s in the role of Joey Potter in “Dawson’s Creek”. Obi Ndefo, who also appeared in productions such as “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” (1993) and “Stargate SG-1” (1997), played her brother-in-law Bodie Wells in the series.

Obi Ndefo’s sister announced his early death in a Facebook post. It is not known what caused the actor and yoga teacher’s death. In August 2019, he suffered a terrible fate: after a visit to the supermarket, he was hit by an SUV in the parking lot and lost both legs.
