However, as of today, with the publication of the Resolution 3320 in the Official Gazettehe Government made it official that all license plates will be digital. This measure seeks to simplify the process and will last five yearswith expiration based on the professional’s date of birth.


Previous physical credentials will remain valid until their expiration date. The new regulations repeal Ministerial Resolution 404/08 and modify 1692/22, replacing physical credentials with digital ones, which will be available in the “Mi Argentina” application.
As confirmed in the resolution, the procedure will continue to be free and will be fully realized online through Remote Procedures.
Steps to obtain the digital license plate
- Download and complete the registration application affidavit.
- Go to Remote Procedures with your tax code and search for the “Registration Request” procedure.
- Verify and complete personal data.
- Attach the required digital documents: signed affidavit, ID, official diploma, criminal record certificate, digital proof of CUIL or CUIT, passport photo, and screenshot of the Public Registry of Graduates.
- If the degree is validated or revalidated, upload the corresponding documents.
- Confirm the process and wait a minimum of three weeks to receive a notification with the Registration Record and the deadlines for downloading the digital credential.
