It’s been almost five years since Amira Aly said yes to Oliver Pocher. Now the celebrity couple’s divorce is official and he seems to be struggling with it.
In August 2023, Oliver Pocher and Amira announced their separation, and after another year the divorce has now been officially finalized. The comedian and the presenter, who have two children together, will share custody in the future, but they will no longer officially be responsible for each other. The comedian will pay maintenance for the children in the future, but not for his ex-wife. This situation was already regulated by a marriage contract concluded at the time of the wedding.
The 46-year-old announced the finalization of the divorce on Instagram. He wrote: “Today Amira and I are officially divorced!” But the divorce seems to be taking its toll on the otherwise tough comedian, as he continued: “Too bad… I thought it would last forever (longer)” But Oliver Pocher wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t add a joke, even after such a sad statement. He informed his fans about the wedding photo he chose: “PS: Photo is not current.”
Oliver Pocher cannot yet find peace with the separation
His ex-wife Amira has long since found a new partner, the presenter Christian Düren, with whom she recently went on a holiday in the mountains to unwind. A topic that Oliver Pocher has trouble dealing with. In his podcast “Die Pochers! Frisch recycled”, which he continued after Amira’s exit with ex-wife number one, Sandy Meyer-Wölden, he repeatedly works on Amira’s new relationship.
It is probably the pain that keeps coming out of him, about his failed love. This is what his latest post suggests. The comments under the picture are piling up. Celebrities like Lilly Becker also commented: “Hope you’re OK?” and Jenny Elvers wrote: “Too bad…, all the best.” The former DSDS candidate Prince Damien apparently senses an opportunity with the newly single Pocher and captioned the picture with the words: “Well, if you had married me, things would have turned out differently.”
