Even many years after the divorce, Justin Theroux still has caring feelings for his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
It has been almost seven years since the Hollywood dream couple Jennifer Aniston (55) and Justin Theroux (53) made their separation public. In contrast to many other failed celebrity marriages, their divorce was harmonious and amicable – which is certainly one reason why Theroux now found incredibly loving words for his ex.
He asserted that Aniston “still means a lot to him” and that he still feels a deep protective instinct towards her. This has probably become even stronger in the past few days and weeks after Aniston publicly clashed with Donald Trump’s (78) candidate for Vice President, JD Vance (40). An old clip of Vance recently surfaced in which he claimed that the USA was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies” who “are unhappy about their own lives and the decisions they have made, and so they want to make the rest of the country unhappy too.”
Aniston, who herself is childless, was stunned by these words and addressed Vance with a warning: “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is lucky enough to have children of her own one day.” In this regard, Theroux raved about his ex-wife’s quick wit: “She defended herself against this criticism – just as she should.”

But despite the engagement, a wedding could still take years: He was married to Aniston from 2015 to 2018, after they had already become engaged almost three years earlier. In February 2018, they finally announced that they had been separated since the end of the previous year. “We are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we feel for each other,” they announced at the time. A plan that they have clearly succeeded in achieving to this day.
