The rock legend appears to be very calm in the video. He also describes his medical incident as a “minor health hiccup”. However, after his treatment in an English hospital, he is now feeling well again. He can also play the guitar again. He has been ordered to stay under “house arrest”, is not allowed to go outside or drive a car and must generally take it easy. He thanks his doctors for their “fantastic care”.
May had already suffered a heart attack a few years ago. Three of his heart arteries were blocked at the time. He “could have died” and was “in fact very close to death,” May explained at the time. However, after three stents were inserted, he was fine again.
At the beginning of the 1970s, May founded the iconic rock band Queen together with Freddie Mercury (1946-1991) and drummer Roger Taylor (75).
