My son has been to Thailand with me every year, except once during Corona – and this separation almost broke my heart. Now that he is starting his first real school year, I want to be by his side as a mom, do homework with him, prepare him for tests, just be there for him,” Hummels continued on Instagram. She thanked the show “Kampf der Realitystars” “for five wonderful years”. In 2022, Hummels and her team won the German Television Award for the format in the category “Best Entertainment Reality”. The broadcaster has not yet announced who will succeed Hummels as presenter.
