Regina Halmich: Stefan Raab will have a six-pack at the boxing match

Before the boxing match against Regina Halmich, Stefan Raab shared a video in a fat suit. She doesn’t let that unsettle her.

Regina Halmich (47) has once again commented on his fitness before the boxing match against Stefan Raab (57) on September 14th. “Stefan will be in top shape… he will knock us all off our feet. He will be standing there with a six-pack, with muscles.” She is therefore not falling for the staged portrayal of her opponent sweating, panting and wearing a fat suit. “Don’t be fooled,” the 46-time boxing world champion appealed to the fans.

Raab had previously published a video showing him overweight and visibly unfit during boxing training with fitness queen Pamela Reif (28). At the end of the clip, both give up and agree: only a doctor can help here. Many then suspected that the entertainer had also sought help from the ex-professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko (48), known as “Doctor Steelhammer”. Halmich does not believe in this theory: “That would be a possibility. But actually, I think, the cosmetic doctor is more needed.”

Regina Halmich has not met Stefan Raab

Stefan Raab has not appeared in public since he retired from television in 2015. In the announcement video for his big comeback boxing match, he was also seen wearing a fat suit and sunglasses. Regina Halmich also neither saw nor spoke to her opponent, whom she has already defeated twice, before the fight – so his fitness level will be a big surprise for her too.

This is also why she is preparing meticulously for the fight and is doing four training sessions a week. “I won’t make it easy for Stefan,” she stressed on the TV show. She is not afraid of Raab, but she believes he is capable of a lot. “It’s a show fight, but we’ll both hit hard. And I have to be extremely careful in the first two rounds in particular, because he’s still in top form, has stamina and I think he’ll also be looking for a decision,” said Halmich.

“THE CLARK FINAL FIGHT” will be broadcast live from Düsseldorf on Saturday, September 14th, from 8:15 p.m. on RTL and RTL+.
