Forbes magazine highlights that Beatrice’s fortune is currently around $3.7 billion since she is also the owner of a third of the inheritance of her husband Julio Mario Santo Domingo, one of the most important business magnates in Colombia.

Who is Beatrice Dávila and how she built her fortune

Beatrice has shares in Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest beer producer based in Belgium and with a global market share of around 25%.

Beatrice always found support in her husband Julio Mario for her efforts in culture. In addition, together with her friend and fellow student at Tadeo Poly Mallarino, they put together their first project, the Deimos Gallery, organized the School of Arts and Crafts, which had its first location in the Las Aguas neighborhood, and then settled in a restored house in La Candelaria, where there was also space for artisans’ workshops.

Dávila not only plays a prominent role in Colombia, but is also involved in important cultural projects in New York. She is a patron of the Metropolitan Opera House and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).
