Regina Halmich: After Raab’s new video, she dares to make a prediction

After Stefan Raab’s new video, Regina Halmich is more convinced than ever that he will be in top shape for the boxing match.

Before the boxing match between TV star Stefan Raab (57) and ex-professional boxer Regina Halmich (47) on September 14, many fans are wondering what physical condition the former “TV Total” presenter is in. In his teaser clips, he has always appeared in a fat suit. His opponent, however, believes that he will appear fitter than ever. She also predicts this after his most recent video from September 9, in which he ends up with beauty doctor Dr. Lamborghini alias Michael Bully Herbig (56).

“Plastic doctor?” Halmich commented on the clip. “I really have ended up in the wrong film.” Then she ventured a prediction about what will happen next: “They will fake an operation and afterwards he will be standing there, well-trained and muscular – in top shape…. Bet?”

Will the cosmetic doctor fix it?

At the beginning of April, Stefan Raab announced his TV comeback and his third boxing match against Regina Halmich – since then there have been short videos advertising the event on Saturday, September 14th. In , which Raab posted on September 9th, five days before the encounter in Düsseldorf, Raab stomps after fitness queen Pamela Reif (28), who is heading to the beauty clinic of “Dr. Lamborghini”. “Wait, I can’t walk anymore,” complains Raab. “Come on now,” admonishes Reif, who finally drives him in a wheelchair to the doctor with artificial white teeth (Herbig). The doctor asks, looking at the man in the wheelchair: “What is that?” – and Reif replies: “That’s Stefan Raab.” Herbig alias Dr. Lamborghini then blurts out: “Oh shit…”, which is how the video ends.

Women’s power for Regina Halmich

While Stefan Raab has already enlisted the help of a number of colleagues for his teaser videos, Regina Halmich is now also receiving prominent support. Comedy star Ilka Bessin (52) posted a video in which she announces a quick victory for the multiple boxing world champion. In it, she says: “Okay, it will only take two minutes. Sorry, Stefan.” Singer Doro Pesch (60), a long-time friend of Halmich, also assumes that the blonde will prevail against Raab in the ring again: “Regina simply has better technique and more experience. And I know that she trains hard every day,” she told “Bild”. As in the first two fights in 2001 and 2007, Pesch will contribute a specially composed entrance anthem “Justice For The Queen” for Halmich.

A few days ago, however, the former professional boxer was not quite so confident of victory: “Even if he has trained for one or two years, he cannot catch up with my 25 years of experience. But anything can happen in an exhibition fight.” Above all, she hopes that both will leave the ring injury-free.

Live broadcast from Düsseldorf

RTL will broadcast the fight live on TV and on RTL+ from 8:15 p.m. The event in the sold-out Düsseldorf PSD Bank Dome will be moderated by former Raab intern Elton (53), commentator is Frank “Buschi” Buschmann (59), Laura Wontorra (35) will report from the boxing ring. Afterwards, an “Exclusive Special: The Talk Afterwards” is planned, in which Frauke Ludowig (60) will report live from the hall.
