Actress Lindsay Lohan (38) has been a mother for more than a year – and is still “blown away” by her new role, as she revealed.
New milestones every day
“I think every day is a milestone,” Lohan said of her son Luai (1), whom she has with her husband Bader Shammas (born 1987). The couple has been married since 2022. “Every day I’m overwhelmed and excited.” Back in August, Lohan raved about her son to “People.” He was “so pure and just so happy” and a “beautiful bundle of joy.”
The boy was born and grew up in Dubai. Luai is an Arabic name that means “shield or protector”. In an interview with “Allure” she once said of her new place of residence: “Dubai gives me the freedom to develop my own vision of what I want to do next.”
It is not known exactly when Luai was born. However, the actress threw him a lavish car-themed first birthday party in the summer, as she revealed on her Instagram profile on July 17, 2024.
Your next projects
After a few years away from the spotlight, the former scandal starlet is back in the acting business. Lohan’s upcoming projects include reprising her role as Anna Coleman in the sequel to her 2003 film “Freaky Friday,” aptly titled “Freakier Friday.” She and her co-star Jamie Lee Curtis (65) have documented the filming of the sequel, which is set to hit theaters in 2025, on social media. Lohan will also appear in a Christmas film for Netflix called “Our Little Secret,” which is set to be released on November 27, 2024.
