Princess Kate commented on her health in a sensational video message. However, she is still missing from a visit to her husband in Wales.
After Princess Kate announced that she had finished her chemotherapy, her husband Prince William (42) was cautiously optimistic. “This is good news, but there is still a long way to go,” said the British heir to the throne on the sidelines of an appointment in Wales in response to a question from a visitor.
It was William’s first public appearance since his wife had spoken out the day before with a personal video message. In it, Kate (42) announced that she would gradually start attending appointments again. But she would mainly concentrate on staying cancer-free. The future queen had announced in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.
In the South Welsh town of Llanelli, William appeared relaxed and sporting a beard again. At a school, he joked with onlookers. Several people wished him a speedy recovery for his wife, who had stayed at home.
At school, William, who holds the official title Prince of Wales, also met ten-year-old Ruby, who had won a Welsh competition. He is trying to learn the language “phonetically” using an app, William said.
