Elon Musk can’t bear to see Taylor Swift being a “childless cat lady”. He offered to “give” her a child.
After Taylor Swift (34) publicly spoke out in favor of Kamala Harris (59) as the future US President, Elon Musk (53) has now also joined in with a bizarre tweet.
After the TV debate between Donald Trump (78) and Kamala Harris, the pop star expressed his support for Harris on Instagram and called her a “level-headed, gifted leader”.
“Childless cat lady” is an allusion to a statement by Trump’s running mate JD Vance (40). In a 2021 interview with Fox News, he said the country was run by Democrats, oligarchs and “childless cat ladies who are unhappy with their own lives and the choices they have made and therefore want to make the rest of the country unhappy.”
“I will give you a child”
Elon Musk responded to Swift’s election decision and ironic self-description on Twitter: “Okay Taylor… you won… I will give you a child and protect your cats with my life.” It is unclear whether the SpaceX founder was offering to impregnate the singer or give her one of his twelve children. And of course, how he came up with the idea that Swift could be interested in any way.
On his platform X, Musk is being punished for the strange comment. Comments include: “This tweet takes things to a whole new level of weird,” “You’re creepy and weird,” or “Go tell Travis Kelce that and see what happens.”
Musk has now also commented on the TV debate himself. He said that although Harris exceeded most people’s expectations, he is nevertheless convinced that Trump would do a better job.
