Bill Kaulitz (35) spoke to us about his love for the Oktoberfest in Munich. Last year, the Magdeburg native visited the world’s largest folk festival for the first time. He wants to go to the Oktoberfest again this year, at least if he doesn’t have any appointments in his adopted home of Los Angeles. “I just love it when people all have fun together and are peaceful and celebrate and everyone enjoys life,” said the Tokio Hotel star.
“There’s something nice to drink, something good to eat, and I just think that’s nice. I just love it when people have a good time, and then I like to be there too,” said Kaulitz. Last year he had “just a lot of fun at the Oktoberfest.”
Much-noticed first visit
In 2023, the visit of Bill Kaulitz and twin brother Tom to the Theresienwiese in Munich caused a flood of headlines. At the time, Bill flirted with YouTuber Marc Eggers (37) on the beer benches in the Käfer tent in front of clicking cameras. The high-profile kisses heated tempers even weeks later and were also the subject of the Netflix documentary “Kaulitz & Kaulitz”.
For Bill Kaulitz, the visit to the infamous festival in Munich is something special because he has led an isolated life for years. Due to his fame, Kaulitz, who became a superstar as a teenager with Tokio Hotel, no longer went anywhere. This time was “just shit,” he summed up in an interview.
