Prime Video revealed today a preview of its new Amazon Original series Cro-MagnonThe series is a fictional drama that follows a group of teenage friends whose lives were altered by the real events surrounding the fire that occurred at the República Cromañón club in 2004.
Cromañón will premiere before the end of the year exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
What is the Cromañón series like?
This drama series follows a group of teenage friends whose lives were altered by the real events surrounding the fire that occurred at the República Cromañón club in Buenos Aires in 2004. The story is told from the perspective of Malena (Olivia Nuss), a 19-year-old girl who dreams of becoming an artist. On the night of the fire, Malena attends her favorite rock band’s concert with her friends, unaware that she will lose many of her loved ones at that event. Four years later, she returns to her childhood neighborhood to come to terms with the past and overcome the guilt she feels for having survived the fire.

The series is produced by About Entertainment, owned by Academy Award winner Armando Bo, who also serves as executive producer alongside Natacha Cervi, Mercedes Reincke, Marialy Rivas and Fabiana Tiscornia.
