Prime Video revealed today a preview of its new Amazon Original series Cro-MagnonThe series is a fictional drama that follows a group of teenage friends whose lives were altered by the real events surrounding the fire that occurred at the República Cromañón club in 2004.
Cromañón will premiere before the end of the year exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

This drama series follows a group of teenage friends whose lives were altered by the real events surrounding the fire that occurred at the República Cromañón club in Buenos Aires in 2004. The story is told from the perspective of Malena (Olivia Nuss), a 19-year-old girl who dreams of becoming an artist. On the night of the fire, Malena attends her favorite rock band’s concert with her friends, unaware that she will lose many of her loved ones at that event. Four years later, she returns to her childhood neighborhood to come to terms with the past and overcome the guilt she feels for having survived the fire.
The cast includes Nuss, Jose Gimenez Zapiola – The Purre (Intertwined, Go! Live your way), Toto Rovito (Blondi; Argentina, 1985), Soledad Villamil (The secret in their eyes, Crazy heart), Luis Machin (Lennons, December 2001), Paola Barrientos (Almost Dead, I Baby, I Princess), Carolina Kopelioff (Supernova, I Am Moon), Kevsho (Intertwined), Alan Madanes (Bia, Freeks), Lautaro Rodriguez (Good Boys, The Marginal), Dani La Chepi (The Manager, Fall in Love) and Antonia Bengoechea (Argentina, 1985; El clan), among others, and features special performances by Esteban Lamothe (El Marginal, Educating Nina) and Muriel Santa Ana (Sandro de América, Blind Date).
Cromañón is led by Marialy Rivas and Fabiana Tiscorniaas directors and creative heads, and written by Josefina Licitra, Pablo Plotkin and Martin Vatenberg.
The series is produced by About Entertainment, owned by Academy Award winner Armando Bo, who also serves as executive producer alongside Natacha Cervi, Mercedes Reincke, Marialy Rivas and Fabiana Tiscornia.
