Demi Lovato: She is looking forward to her sister’s baby

Singer and actress Demi Lovato (32) is very excited about becoming an aunt soon. In one of her posts, she talks about how happy she is that her half-sister Madison De La Garza (22) is pregnant.

TV actress De La Garza, known from “Desperate Housewives”, is expecting her first child with her partner Ryan Mitchell. As she recently announced, the baby will be born in October. Lovato can hardly wait. “I’m really excited to have new life in our family,” she said at a screening of her Hulu documentary “Child Star”. “I value family and friends more than success every single day.”

However, the American apparently only came to this realization while filming her current streaming documentary about child stars: “When people ask me what advice I would give to child actors today, I would say to put meaningful connections in life above success, because sometimes I didn’t do that and I regretted it. But now that I think a lot, I can say that family means so much to me and I’m looking forward to being an aunt.”

Hollywood ban on own offspring

The 32-year-old doesn’t have any children of her own yet, but is already thinking about future offspring and what the most important rule will be for her children in relation to their own Hollywood careers: “I would say: ‘Let’s study music theory and prepare you for the day you turn 18, because it won’t happen before then.’ Not because I don’t believe in you or don’t love you or don’t want you to be happy, but because I want you to have a childhood. The childhood that I didn’t have,” she emphasized in August.

Lovato started in show business at the age of just six, when she became one of the actresses in the children’s series “Barney & Friends” alongside Selena Gomez (32).
