Sarah Kern and Tobias Pankow separated after the “Sommerhaus der Stars”. The relationship failed due to the physical distance.
The designer Sarah Kern (56) is single again and explained how she split up with her ex-partner Tobias Pankow (39) after filming the ninth season of the RTL show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars – Kampf der Promipaare”. There, the two can still be seen as a couple. The reason for the end of the relationship: the great physical distance between the two.
Kern currently lives in Cyprus and Malta, while Pankow lives in Berlin and Brandenburg: “I’m not in Germany, I’m reinventing myself, which is why we don’t see each other and I could never live with a man,” Kern explained to her followers. They parted ways amicably and had even given love another chance after a long break after filming. “After we had already separated, after the summer house, Tobi visited me again,” Kern continued. The final end of the relationship was inevitable, however.
Sarah Kern: No other man at her side
There is no new man at her side, Kern asserts. Since her time with Pankow, she has not “written to, seen or dated anyone”. Apparently to forestall rumours, she also declared that she was not a “cheaterer” either. That was completely out of the question for her: “He was my boyfriend and I had no one else.”
The German-Danish Sarah Kern first made a name for herself as a model and married the fashion designer Otto Kern (1950-2017) in 1995, with whom she has a son. They divorced in 1999. Her relationship with her second husband produced another son. This marriage lasted from 2008 to 2010. Kern met Tobias Pankow at a birthday party in August 2019 and started dating him. A little later, however, they temporarily separated. In November 2022, Kern announced that she and Tobias wanted to give love a second chance.
