However, the two accused doctors could be just the tip of a huge iceberg in Hollywood. According to the report, there is a whole network of criminal doctors who supply wealthy celebrities in Los Angeles with drugs. In a documentary, the portal claims to have revealed that the two accused doctors are therefore not isolated cases, but merely “part of a sophisticated, secret celebrity drug ring.”

The entire documentary “TMZ Investigates Matthew Perry and the Secret Celebrity Drug Ring” will be broadcast on Monday, September 16th on Fox. Stars such as Kelly Osbourne (39) will also be featured, speaking openly about doctors who issue prescriptions to prominent drug addicts in return for payment. Matthew Perry was injected with ketamine daily until his death

Perry spoke openly about his addiction problems years before his drug-related death and wrote about them in detail in his memoirs, published in 2022. He was already addicted to alcohol at the age of 18 and later consumed excessive amounts of pills, including oxycodone and Xanax. As early as the 1990s, he suffered from serious health problems and had to undergo a total of 14 operations – including on his pancreas and intestines.

At his lowest point – after the end of the hit series “Friends” in 2003 – he swallowed up to 55 opioid tablets a day. In total, he completed 64 detoxification treatments, 15 rehabs, was in a psychiatric hospital and attended around 6,000 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Nevertheless, in recent years he was considered clean, at least in public. It was only after his death that it came to light that this was apparently not true: In September 2023, according to the public prosecutor’s office, he asked his assistant to get him ketamine. In an interview, the assistant stated that Perry had ketamine injected six to eight times a day before his death.
