We deeply regret that we are unable to reach all of our fans who have already purchased tickets. We cannot see any solution that would ensure a safe environment on stage or allow us to reliably put on a great evening performance.

Following the incident, the band apologized to the public and announced that their upcoming show in Bridgeport was cancelled.

Etty LauFarrell’s wife, spoke out on the situation, explaining that “frustration had been mounting” within the band. She acknowledged that “there had been a lot of tension and animosity between the members,” which is “the magic that made the band so dynamic.”

She attributed Perry’s behavior to the fact that he suffered from “tinnitus and a sore throat every night.”adding: “Perry’s frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt the volume on stage had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band.”
