Netflix announced that it will renew the series Emily in Paris for a fifth season, following the return of season 4 on September 12.
Season 4, which was split into two parts, with Part 1 premiering on August 12, sees Emily (Lily Collins) embark on a romance with a handsome Italian fashion executive and then move to Italy to open a Rome office for Agence Grateau.
The Season 5 spot featured a sneak peek of Emily sitting on a rooftop terrace in Rome while sipping an espresso.
The creator of the program, Darren Starconfirmed that the connection with Rome will continue in the fifth season.
“We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris,” she told Netflix’s Tudum.
This does not mean that Emily will leave the French capital forever.
“Emily will have a presence in Rome”says Star. “That doesn’t mean he won’t be in Paris, but he will have a presence in Rome.”
