For several seasons now, a series of relationships have been breaking up in the RTL loyalty test reality show “Temptation Island”. For influencer Lisa-Marie Straube and Furkan Akkaya, things were not just a little different, but completely different. In an interview before the broadcast of the new celebrity season for RTL+, which was recorded in early summer on the Greek island of Corfu, the 23-year-old and the former “Too Hot to Handle” participant revealed: We are now married – and expecting a baby!
“After we came back here from the show, I was completely exhausted, completely worn out,” said Straube in an RTL interview. Because that didn’t feel normal, the influencer took a test. “And it was positive.” The couple is expecting a boy, who will be called Emilio, as Akkaya revealed. Straube posted several pictures on her Instagram channel showing her baby bump – and wrote: “Mom and dad can’t wait to meet you.”
There are only a few days between engagement and wedding
And that wasn’t the only surprise the couple had in store. Last June, shortly after the pregnancy was announced, “Akka” proposed to his girlfriend. Just a few days later, the two were married in their adopted home of Dubai.
It is the preliminary climax of a love affair at express speed: In the introduction of the reality show candidates on RTL, it is said that the couple only met last year through a mutual friend at a birthday party – and immediately spent the night together. They quickly moved in together in Dortmund and emigrated to Dubai shortly afterwards.
“Temptation Island VIP” also with a Wollny
In “Temptation Island VIP,” well-known reality show faces have to resist temptations and face challenges. In the new season, Straube and Akkaya meet three other couples, including reality show celebrity Sarah-Jane Wollny (“The Wollnys”) and her boyfriend Tinush.
The new season with twelve episodes and a reunion starts on Wednesday, October 2nd, on RTL+, the season opener can be streamed from September 25th. The show is hosted by Lola Weippert.
