Spanish League: Giovani Lo Celso returned to Betis with two goals and a victory

With two goals from the Argentine Giovanni Lo Celsohe Real Betis won 2 to 1 Getafe in a pending match of the third date of the Spanish League.

The victory left the Seville team in positions for European competitions.

The match had been postponed due to Betis’ matches against Ukrainian side Kryvbas, whom they defeated 2-0 in the first leg and 3-0 in the return leg to advance to the main round of the Conference League.

The Argentine midfielder, who returned to the Spanish club after his time at Tottenham in England, was the player of the match with his great flashes on the pitch and continues to win over more and more of the Betis fans.

The first goal was a penalty, after a cross shot by goalkeeper David Soria, who moved to the other side, putting Betis ahead 1-0.

Later, with 15 minutes left in the match, the midfielder shot from outside the area and left the goalkeeper with nothing to do, thus ending the match which, although Getafe managed to reduce the deficit in the 93rd minute with a goal from midfielder Mauro Arambarri, would not influence the final result.

With this result, the Andalusian team is in sixth place in the table with eight points and is now in the Europa League spots, seven behind leader Barcelona.
