“The Penguin”, the series starring Colin Farrell, is coming to Max. What time does it premiere?

Starring Colin Farrell in the role of Oz Cobb (known as ‘The Penguin’), the series of HBO and Max is a continuation of the epic crime saga of the universe of The Batmanof Matt Reeveswhich began with the hit film of the same name from Warner Bros. Pictures.

Developed by the showrunner Lauren LeFrancThe new production focuses on the villain, who was also played by Farrell in the feature film.

The new original series, produced in collaboration with DC, Premieres today, Thursday, September 19 at 10:00 p.m. on Max and HBOwith a repeat on the channel on September 22 at the same time.

Following the premiere, new episodes will air on Sundays, always at 10:00 p.m., with the second episode scheduled for Sunday, September 29. There will be eight episodes in total.

The cast is made up of Colin Farrell (Oz Cobb), Cristin Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Rhenzy Happy (Victor Aguilar), Michael Kelly (Johnny Viti), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Nadia Maroni), Deirdre O’Connell (Francis Cobb), Clancy Brown (Salvatore Maroni), James Madio (Milos Staple), Scott Cohen (Luca Falcone), Michael Zegen (Alberto Falcone), Carmen Ejogo (Eve Karlo) and Theo Rossi (Dr. Julian Rush).

The series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell and Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner, Craig Zobelwho directed the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro.

Based on the characters created for DC by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, The Penguin is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho are under an overall deal, and DC Studios. Daniel Pipski also executive produces.
