Florence Pugh has announced her new relationship with an unknown partner. She was open about the topic of wanting children.
Florence Pugh (28) is in a committed relationship again. The actress confirmed relationship rumors for the first time since her separation from Zach Braff in 2022. Pugh did not reveal whether her partner is “Peaky Blinders” actor Finn Cole (28). At the beginning of September, citing an insider about an alleged, “secret” liaison between Pugh and Cole.
“I am someone who loves to fall in love”
“Okay, so one thing I identify with is that I believe that if magic is real, it’s falling in love. And I’m someone who loves falling in love,” she told the magazine. “We’re in the process of finding out who we really are,” she explained. She emphasized that she doesn’t want to rush “to make something happen and have it be completely real at its core.”
For her, a rollercoaster of emotions is not the goal. “Falling in love is the most beautiful feeling, but if that’s the only thing you know in a relationship, then unfortunately that’s what you’re chasing,” she shared an insight, adding: “It doesn’t last.” However, that’s exactly what Pugh is looking for. Referring to her latest film project “We Live in Time,” she revealed: “I was the right age to make this film. I went through a lot of weird things last year in terms of relationships, and I think part of the story is not being passive, not letting things overwhelm you.”
As she made clear, she now has a clear idea of her future. “I want to go out and find love, and I want to have babies,” she explained. She has “always” wanted children and “loves the idea of a big family.” Pugh’s wishes include “security, family, a home and security.”
Criticism of previous relationship caused “damage” to
Pugh’s last official relationship was with Zach Braff (49). After three years, they announced their separation in 2022. During their partnership, they received criticism for their 21-year age difference. “The relationship between me and Zach was actually pretty private until it got nasty and I could see the damage it was doing to him and us and our families,” Pugh explained.
She wanted to protect each of her partners and that’s why she spoke out about it at the time. In April 2020, the actress released a video in which she confronted the critics. “It’s not nice to know that people are saying the worst things about someone I love. So that was necessary,” she added. The former acting couple are said to still be friends today. Braff said that he and Pugh still “love” each other.
