Erol Sander has been a father of three for a few months now. The actor raves about how his daughter Romy has enriched the family.
In April, actor Erol Sander (55) became a father for the third time. His partner Rebecca Oehlmann (35) gave birth to a girl – for Sander, it is the first daughter after two sons.
Apparently a completely new experience for the 55-year-old: “She needs a lot of attention,” says Erol Sander. “But she is also a very calm baby and very happy and we are there for her every second.” Little Romy, as the baby is called, is a real asset to the family: “She fills us with so much happiness,” says Erol Sander enthusiastically.
And as befits a father, the actor also regularly lends a hand when it comes to looking after the little one: “Last night, for example, her nose was blocked. And when her mother wanted to breastfeed her and she couldn’t breathe through her nose, […] I went out again at night and got some baby nose drops. And then she slept really well and everything was quiet,” Sander says proudly.
Patchwork life is an “enrichment”
Daughter Romy is Erol Sander’s third child. He has two sons with his ex-wife Caroline Goddet (48): Marlon (born 2003) and Elyas (born 2010). The former dream couple separated in 2022 after 22 years of marriage. His partner Rebecca Oehlmann, whom he met on the set of “Alles was zählt”, has another daughter from a previous relationship.
Life as a patchwork family is an “enrichment,” says Sander. “A child is something very special, something wonderful, something enchanting. She fills us with so much happiness and we are all healthy. That is the most important thing of all,” he says, raving about his family happiness with his daughter.
